BRIGHEL Elastic Bushings are also used as Primary Suspension parts in railroad cars for vibration damping and articulation between the wheelset and the bogie. These are anti-vibration elements consisting of a rubber part, interposed and vulcanized between two metal containment bushes. A characteristic feature of the Elastic Bushing is that it can be adjusted within its admissible limits to comply with project specifications.

The product is designed to include solutions that also make it compliant with the FIRE-FUMES EN 45545-2-HL2 safety standard.

The Primary Suspension is considered a critical safety part, subject to homologation requirements and subsequent series tests, as required by the reference specifications and the use and maintenance manual.

Conical Springs are used as primary suspension systems in railway vehicles for vibration damping purposes. They are anti-vibration elements consisting of a rubber part, interposed between a conical pin and a metal casing; the metal parts are vulcanized to the rubber element.

The Rubber Block (Sutuco) for Bushing Attachment is an elastic element designed and built to ensure the connection between the bushing and the bogie frame, guaranteeing comfort and improving performance.

The connection between the bushings and the bogie frame is obtained through a longitudinal protrusion from the bush body, which is hinged to the bogie frame through a rubber joint ("Sutuco") capable of transmitting all the stress in the horizontal plane, while keeping the axes parallel to each other.
